The HelloEURO Triangulation Calculator can be operated by mouse,
keyboard or numeric keypad. It allows you to enter any currency
amount and see that equivalent figure in any other currency. This calculation
is performed via the Euro e.g. IEP -> Euro -> BEF.
It allows for euro compliant rounding and non-euro
compliant rounding such as Truncate Rounding, Rounding
Up and Rounding Down. HelloEURO also caters
for Rounding at an Intermediate number
of decimal places, Rounding at a Final Output number of
decimal places and Rounding and to the Smallest Coin.
By default the HelloEURO Euro Calculator conforms to
Euro Compliant Rounding in-keeping with European
Regulations.
It includes
VAT and adheres strictly to the EU Triangulation Rules.
If VAT rates have been entered (in the "Configure Exchange
Rates/Currencies" screen), the VAT amounts can be
seen by scrolling to the right. This feature is useful when estimating price
points.

Activate the Triangulation Calculator by right clicking
on the euro Symbol in the Taskbar and left clicking on
'Triangulation Calculator'.
2 Go
through the following fields.
Rounding
method:
Click on the
Down Arrow to display a list of Rounding Methods.
Euro Compliant - Euro Compliant Rounding.
Truncate - Non-Euro compliant Rounding
Up - Non-Euro compliant Rounding
Down - Euro compliant Rounding
Local
Currency
Click on the Down Arrow to display
a list of currencies
Select your desired currency
3 Amount to convert:
Enter
the amount you wish to convert.
Final
number of decimal places to calculate:
Enter
the number of decimal places you wish to have that
amount finally rounded to.
Intermediate
decimal places to round to:
Enter
the number of decimal places you wish to have the
intermediate amount rounded to.
Round
to smallest coin:
Tick
the Box if you wish to round your converted data to the
smallest coin for that
currency.

Click the calculate button.

View the converted data in the "Converted
Amount" column.
Note: If VAT Rates have been
entered you can see the VAT and Gross Amounts by
scrolling to the right.
