MS Word Example of Single Currency Conversion

1. Type the following into a document.

An amount in Irish pounds £123.3

2. Highlight the sentence and press your conversion Hotkey (default WIN-F10).
The following screen will appear allowing you to modify the conversion parameters.

Note on Default Local Currency field
This field can be set to anything as HelloEURO is being told that the local currency is in fact DM.
Note: In a currency conversion, where there are amounts with no prefixes/postfixes, this field must be set to the appropriate default local currency.

3. Ensure 'Local Currency -> Euro' is flagged on and Click OK.

RESULT:
An amount in Irish pounds €156.56 (£123.3)

MS Word Example of Multi Currency Conversion

1. Type the following into a document:

 An amount in Irish pounds £123.3 and an amount in Canadian CA$123.3

2. Highlight the sentence and press your conversion Hotkey (default WIN-F10).
The Run Conversion (below) will appear allowing you to modify the conversion parameters.



Note on 'Default Local Currency' field.
In a Multi Currency Conversion (like this example), where your data has currency prefixes/postfixes before each amount, this field can be set to any currency, as HelloEURO knows that the local currency is in fact £ and CA$.

Ensure 'Local Currency -> Euro' is flagged on and Click OK. 

RESULT:
An amount in Irish pounds (£123.3) €175.10 and an amount in Canadian (CA$123.3) €73.21
