MS Excel Example of Single Currency Conversion

1. Enter the following figures into a worksheet.
The last cell should be a formula sum of the other cells in German Marks.

2. Highlight the column of numbers (including the Sum field) and press your conversion Hotkey (default WIN-F10).
The Run Conversion screen (below) will appear allowing you to modify the conversion parameters.

Note on 'Default Local Currency' field.
This field can be set to anything as HelloEURO is being told that the local currency is in fact DEM.
Note: In a currency conversion, where there are amounts with no prefixes/postfixes, this field must be set to the appropriate default local currency.

3. In the MSExcel Tab you can tick 'Use HelloEURO number format in Excel' if you wish to use the format specified in the Number Format field under the General Tab, otherwise leave it unticked  if you wish to keep the original Excel cell formatting.

4. Ensure 'Local Currency -> Euro' is flagged on and Click OK.

REMEMBER: by clicking on the Ms Excel Tab you can choose to:
- Replace values in cells
- Move OLD values BELOW selected cells
- Move OLD values to the RIGHT of selected cells
- Insert the value before conversion into the Comment Cells
and more.
